So today I left work early so I could get to Banana Republic a little early and do some shopping. About five minutes down the road traffic stopped, and stayed that way for two hours. Apprently, some 18 year old kid thought it would be a good idea to shoot five cops and try some car jacking action on for size. Needless to say the 10 cop to 1 person ratio in Fairfax was instituted for the remainder of the day. Every major highway, byway, causeway, express way, parkway and driveway was shut down for like 5 hours. I was given ample time to sit in the purple dragon, which has no radio and look at stuff around me. The only good thing that came from today was getting to hang out with Lizz and eat some Pho'. I can't get enough of her.
